Budget Vegan Foods |
I'm Helen. I'm a graduate in the UK & I recently decided to break myself into veganism. I am 95% vegan (I still eat bee's products on occasion) I'm trying my hardest to make quick, easy, cheap, sometimes healthy vegan foods on a budget. I may also post about animals, the environment and health, too. Blog used to be: studentvegan (foods) - but changed due to being a graduate now My Thrift Blog |
spring rolls, potstickers and dumplings served with rice (all mushroom filling)
potsticker/dumplings pre-cooking (mushroom filling). Used dried shittake, oyster and other mushroom mix, asian fungus (dried), fresh button mushrooms and chestnut mushrooms (all diced very small). Also had garlic (2 cloves, minced), chunk ginger - minced, small amount onion (chopped fine) and some spring onions. Also added rehydrated vegan soy mince in the mushroom water. All cooked in a frying pan with the mushroom water, soy sauce, sesame oil and some corn starch to bind.
